No giant polyurethane walls to knock down, no huge inflatable animals and no pyrotechnics to rival Vesuvius…
But the music Roger Waters wrote for Pink Floyd has an inherent grandiose scale despite the lack of side-show shenanigans. Not to say that Roger embarked on the tour with only a Transit van full of gear, a six pack of beer and a couple of mates – this is a serious production involving a 10-piece band, large crew, and a JPS-supplied Clair Bros i4 PA system. Also of interest was the use of a ‘quad’ PA system.
